My name is Melene.  It’s pronounced “Mel-eh-knee”.

I believe our job as human beings is to pay attention to what’s happening in our inner and outer world.  This is definitely the work of writers so this blog is a collection of the things I notice as an attentive human being.

A few other things about me:

1.  I like winter.  (I live in Canada)
2.  I love lemon desserts.
